The Care and Elderly Administration in Borås City works towards the goal that both younger and older residents in need of care, support, and services, as well as health care and preventive health work, should have a good life every day.

The administration consists of approximately 2,500 employees, of which about 800 work within the municipal care and nursing homes.

The Care and Nursing Home Hestra Ringväg 4 is now looking for a Nursing Assistant for night shifts. The unit has two departments focused on individuals with dementia diagnoses. The job responsibilities include providing good care and support and performing quality services. We focus on individual adaptation and participation, self-determination, and meaningfulness. Through a good approach, we meet our users with respect to create trust and security. Your work also includes performing delegated health care tasks, documenting in our journal systems, writing implementation plans, and working with national quality registers.

We are looking for someone with a strong commitment to care work and an interest in working with people. You should have completed a 3-year nursing program or equivalent and have good knowledge of the Swedish language as well as computer skills. You should have a few years of experience as night work requires you to be confident in your role and able to take the responsibility required. We want you to be curious and open to new working methods, as well as having an easy time collaborating and creating good relationships.

It is advantageous if you have good knowledge of documentation as well as BPSD and TEAM collaboration.

The employment conditions involve a permanent full-time position with the possibility of part-time work. Start date 20260202 or by agreement.
